DELHI – JAIPUR – AGRA – KHAJURAHO – VARANASI – KATHMANDU – DELHI

DAY 01 Arrive Delhi

Meeting and assistance and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon proceed for a half day city tour of Old Delhi. Visit the historic Red Fort built by Emperor Shah Jehan, Jama Masjid, the Shanti Vana and the Raj Ghat – cremation sites of Jawahar Lal Nehru and Mahatma Gandhi respectively.

DAY 02 Delhi

Morning proceed for a half day city tour of New Delhi. Visit the Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple, India Gate, and other government buildings. Evening attend an Indian classical dance show.
Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 03 Delhi / Jaipur

Morning depart Delhi for Jaipur by Shatabdi Express. Arrive Jaipur, and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon. tour visiting the City Palace, the observatory and the Palace of Winds-Hawa Mahal and the colourful bazaars. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 04 Jaipur

Morning half day excursion tour of Amber Fort with elephant ride. Afternoon free. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 05 Jaipur / Agra

Morning proceed for Agra, enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri – the ancient deserted capital of the Mughal kings. Arrive Agra in the late afternoon and transfer to the hotel for overnight.

DAY 06 Agra

Morning proceed for a half day city tour of Agra visiting the world famous ‘TAJ MAHAL’ built by Emperor Shah Jehan in 1630 for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later visit the Agra Fort built by Emperor Akbar containing Palaces and the famous Moti Masjid. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 07 Agra / Khajuraho

Morning free till transfer to the airport in time to board flight for Khajuraho.

Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 08 Khajuraho / Varanasi

Morning visit the famous Chandela Temples built between 950 and 1050 AD known for their erotic sculptures. Afternoon transfer to the airport in time to board flight for Varanasi. Arrive Varanasi, meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon visit Sarnath, the site of Buddha’s first sermon. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 09 Varanasi

Early morning boat ride on the holy river Ganges to see the bathing ghats and many rituals performed by the devotees on the ghats. Afternoon proceed for a half day city tour of Varanasi. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 10 Varanasi/Kathmandu

Morning transfer to the airport in time to board flight for Kathmandu. Arrive Kathmandu, meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 11 Kathmandu

Morning drive to Nagarkot to view the snow capped Himalayas. Afternoon half day excursion tour to Bhadgaon, one of the ancient capitals of Nepal, which has the Golden Gate, the Palace with fifty five windows and the five storied Natyapola Pagoda. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 12 Kathmandu

Morning half day city tour of the city visiting Swaymbhunath - one of the oldest Hindu temples and explore the local Bazaars. Afternoon at leisure.

DAY 13 Kathmandu / Delhi

Morning free till transfer to the airport in time to board flight for Delhi.

Arrive Delhi, meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 14 Delhi

Full day free for independent activities. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 15 Delhi / Out

Morning transfer to the international airport in time to board flight for your onward destination.
