Day01
:Delhi Agra -
Morning tour of Old Delhi visiting Jama Masjid
the largest mosque of Emperor Shahjahan. Later proceed
to Red Fort, Raj Ghat- cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi,
India Gate a 42 meter stone arch built in the
memory of the Indian Soldiers who died in World War
II, Drive past the Presidents House & Parliament
House, Humayuns Tomb (a memorial of the Mughals,
its design is inspired by the Taj Mahal), the Qutab
Minar. Later depart by road for Agra which is 204 kms
and approx. 4 hrs drive. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight
stay at hotel.
Day02 :Agra
Fatehpur Sikri
Jaipur - Morning guided tour of the world famous Taj
Mahal ( closed on Fridays ) and Agra Fort noted for
its fine views of the Taj from across the Yamuna River.
Also visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula which is often
referred to as the Jewel of Agra . Afternoon
leave for Jaipur ( 232 kms / 5 hrs drive ) enroute visiting
the abandoned & nearly intact Mughal city of Fatehpur
Sikri, a masterpiece of Muslim architecture. Continue
overland to Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan, also
known as the Pink City Overnight stay
at hotel.
Day03:Jaipur
Mandawa -
Morning drive out to the hills beyond the city and ascend
by painted elephant to the magnificent fortress-palace
at Amber. Later visiting City Palace Museum , Observatory
, Palace of Winds & drive through the city. Evening
drive to Mandawa which is 197 Kms & approx. 4 hrs
drive, also known as the open air art gallery
of Rajasthan. The Castle Mandawa, a rugged, handsome
fort features war-scarred turrets, lofty domes &
ancient cannons and offers gracious hospitality with
modern comforts. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day04 :Mandawa
Bikaner -
Morning drive towards Bikaner ( 164 Kms / 04 hrs )
tucked away in the desert of western Rajasthan &
characterized by its beautiful sandstone architecture.
On arrival check-in to hotel. Visit the unusual Junagarh
Fort, built on the desert plain itself, instead of a
hilltop. The palace complex with its sumptuously decorated
interiors, ornately lacquered walls & dazzling coloured
glass are perhaps the best preserved example of its
kind in India. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day05 :Bikaner
Jaisalmer -
Drive to Jaisalmer which is 330 kms and approx 7 hrs
drive. A fascinating city rising from the heart of the
Thar Desert like a golden mirage. The commanding fort
etched in yellow sandstone stands in awesome splendor.
On arrival check-in to hotel. No trip to Jaisalmer is
complete without a trip to the picturesque dunes of
the Sam, where you can enjoy a camel safari. The ripples
on the wind-caressed dunes are a photographers
delight. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day06 :Jaisalmer
Manvar -
Morning visit the awesome Jaisalmer Fort, housing the
entire township within its ramparts. Lovely Nathmalji
ki Haveli & Patwon ki
Haveli ; three beautifully sculptured Jain Temples built
between the 12th and the 13th Centuries ; and five interconnected
palaces. Then drive to the enchanting Thar Desert oasis
of Manvar ( 185 kms / 3 hrs drive ) where you will enjoy
a stay in a luxurious tented camp & experience a
night in the desert. Dine under a canopy of stars with
entertainment including folk dancing and indigenous
music.
Day07 :Manvar
Jodhpur -
Embark on an early morning camel safari to witness the
magnificent sunrise over the desert dunes. Later travel
to Jodhpur which is 110 Kms and approx 2 hrs drive.
On arrival check-in to hotel. Visit the invincible Mehrangarh
Fort and the Jaswant Thada, a graceful marble cenotaph
built in 1899. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day08 :Jodhpur
Ranakpur
Udaipur - Morning depart for Udaipur. Stop enroute and
tour the beautifully sculpted Jain Temples of Ranakpur.
Continue the journey for Udaipur. On arrival check-in
to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day09:Udaipur

Leave for the sightseeing tour of this famous
City of Lakes , known as one of the most picturesque
and romantic cities of India. Visit City Palace with
its scalloped arches, fretted balconies & cupolas
; Saheliyon ki bari Garden ; and the folklore museum
where you can see a presentation of the string Puppet
Show typical to this area. Afternoon at leisure.
Day10 :Udaipur
Mumbai -
Morning fly to Mumbai. On arrival check-in to hotel.
Afternoon, city tour of Bombay - the great port city
with its Victorian Gothic buildings from the British
Raj Era mingling with the modern. The tour includes
'Gateway of India' overlooking the Harbour, the 'Towers
of Silence', 'Marine Drive', the 'Colaba Causeway' -
the commercial heart of Bombay and the Dhobi Ghat, the
unique and colourful outdoor 'laundry'. Drive upto the
Malabar Hill to the lovely 'Hanging Gardens' and the
Kamla Nehru Park from where you will get a wonderful
view of Mumbai and the Arabian Sea, spread out before
you. Also visit Mani Bhawan, a small museum dedicated
to the life and works of Mahatma Gandhi, and the bustling
Crawford Market. Also visit Prince of Wales Museum (
closed on Tuesdays ). Overnight at hotel. Transfer to
airport. Bid farewell to India and depart on your Singapore
Airlines flight for USA.
