1 Visit Verona -

2 Visit Padua (Padova) -
Home to the splendid basilica of St Anthony, and the Cappella degli Scrovegni which has a great collection of Giotto frescoes. Its also a university town with a lively nightlife.
3 See Asolo -
For some its the most beautiful place in Italy. There are a great many contenders for this crown but this is a serious contender. Its known as the town of a hundred horizons, most of these are provided by the foothills of the Dolomites.
4 Try Grappa in Bassano di Grappa -
The local drink exists in various forms in every part of the world, grappa is made of grapes and the alcohol content starts at 40 percent. Its certainly an acquired taste but the locals swear its the best after dinner drink there is.
