Day 1: Welcome meeting in Malcesine and handing out of material.

Day 2: Via Panoramica (9kms)
Walk from Malcesine along the Via Panoramica (Panoramic Road) with staggering views on the lake and surroundings and magnificent olive groves to the Valley of Dreams (Val di Sogno) set on the lake and come back to Malcesine hiking along the shore line visiting various hamlets on the way. There is the chance to visit the castle of Malcesine which holds a museum about the flora and fauna of the lake area.

Day 3: Monte Baldo (6 - 11- 15kms)
Take the cablecar Monte Baldo (15 min.) Malcesine (89m.) up to Baita dei Forti (1752m.) and walk to mountain Rifugio Altissimo (mountain shelter/ restaurant). Enjoy the walk in a spectacular setting high above Lake Garda with great views on the colourful boats on the lake and on the Dolomites mountain range.

Day 4: Limone sul Garda (10kms)
Take ferry to Limone sul Garda. Enjoy the walk through this lovely town with its narrow cobblestone streets and admire the old limonaia (old stone structures where lemons were grown). Don't forget to have a taste of the limoncello (sweet liquor made of lemon)! Have lunch in one of the many restaurants that serve lake fish or eat a pizza. Fine walk through the Valle del Singo. Ferry back to Malcesine.

Day 5: Gargnano (9kms)
Today you will discover the southwestern shore of Lake Garda . In the morning you take a ferry across to Gargnano and explore this town which is one of the most important sailing centers on the lake. You can visit Villa Feltrinelli, a marvellous palace that belonged to the Duke of Feltrinelli, nowadays a top end hotel . A pleasant walk on a trail above the lake leads you north of Gargnano and back to town. Take a ferry back to Malcesine.

Day 6: 6 Riva del Garda – Arco ( 10 km )
By ferry you reach the most northern tip of Lake Garda and visit the splendid town of Riva del Garda . A short walk leads up to the old Bastione (fortress) from where you can look over the town and the Valle dei Laghi (valley of the lakes) north of town. Next on you can take a public bus to the nearby town of Arco and visit its beautiful castle situated on top of a cliff. Back to Riva by bus and a last ferry to Malcesine.

Day 7: Check-out and departure.
