Duration: 11 Nights / 12 Days
DAY 01: ARRIVE DELHI
Morning arrive Delhi. Met on arrival
at the visitor’s lounge and transferred to your hotel.
Later in the day you will enjoy semi-urban bird watching
in the fort area and the Delhi zoo.
DAY 02: DELHI – RISHIKESH
Morning you will be transferred by
surface to Delhi station in time to board the train
to Haridwar for transfer by surface to Rishikesh (24
kms, 1 hr). Met on arrival and transferred to your
hotel for over-night stay. Evening will be at leisure.
DAY 03: RISHIKESH – JOSIMATH
Transfer by surface to Josimath (252
kms/10 hrs). On arrival you will be transferred to
the hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 04: JOSHIMATYH - LATA
Morning you will be transferred by
surface to Lata (a small village at the altitude of
2317 m; 30 km). On arrival to Lata you will trek to
Belta (2850 m; 4 kms; 2 hrs). Overnight at tented
camps
DAY 05: LATA - LATA KHARAK
Morning you will trek for 5 km from
Belta to Lata Kharak (3 - 5 hours; altitude 3689 m.).
Overnight at the tented camp.
DAY 06: LATA KHARAK
- JANDHIDHAAR (3928M.) - SATKULA (4023M)
Morning you will proceed for the 3
km of steep trek to Jandhidhaar (2 hours), On arrival
to Jandidhar you will relax and enjoy the area for
some time before proceeding to Satkula.
Overnight at the tented camp
DAY 07: LATA KHARAK - DHARASSI PASS
(4152M.)
Morning you will trek from Lata Kharak
(4665 m; 8 kms; 5 to 7 hours). You will get a chance
to see the Nanda Devi, Donagri, Mrigthuni, Mangraon,
Changbang, Kalnka, Hanuman and many other peaks. Overnight
at the tented camp
DAY 08: DIBRUGETHA
- DHARASSI PASS AND BACK
Morning you will trek to Dibrughetta
(3500 m.; 4 kms; 2 – 4hrs). You might sight some Himalayan
mammals on this trek. Overnight at the tented camp
DAY 09: DHARASSI - TOLMA
Morning proceed for Tolma (9 kms;
4 to 5 hours altitude 3750 m.).
Overnight at the tented camp
DAY 10: TOLMA - JOSHIMATH VIA SURAITOHTA
(ALTITUDE 2329 M.)
Morning you will return to Josimath
via Suraihota (2 to 4 hours; 5 km) and further drive
28 km to Joshimath. Overnight you will be in a hotel
in Joshimath.
DAY 11: JOSIMATH – RISHIKESH
Morning you will be transferred by
surface to Rishikesh (252 kms, 10 hrs) in time to
board your train to Delhi.
DAY 12: DELHI – LONDON
Arrive Delhi. Met on arrival and transferred
to a hotel nearby the airport for wash and change.
Later in the evening you will have assisted transfer
to the Indira Gandhi International Airport for your
flight to London or onward destination.
