Bandhavgarh is a small National Park in Madhya Pradesh but the density of Tigers here is the highest in India. This is also the White Tiger territory. Bandhavgarh Fort forms the backdrop.
The bird life offers 150 species like Fly Catchers, Golden and Black Headed Orioles, Yellow Loras, etc. Each climatic change unfolds a different spectacle.
Apart from Bandhavgarh Jungle Camp, White Tiger Forest Lodge, Forest Rest House and PWD Rest House are ideal for staying.
Best route is by air to Khajuraho from where it takes five-hours by road. State/private buses ply between Katni and Umaria and also from Satna and Rewa to Bandhavgarh.
